A Typhoon Watch and Tropical Storm Warning continue for Guam. A Typhoon Warning continues for Rota, Tinian, and Saipan. Typhoon conditions will continue to affect areas under the Typhoon Warning for the next 12-24 hours or so. Typhoon Sinlaku has winds of 125 MPH, and is located about 170 miles north of Guam. It’s moving northwest at 6 mph. Rainfall of up to 20-30″ will cause massive flooding and mudslides. Destructive storm surge and waves up to 15′ expected as well tonight. Weather will improve for Guam tonight, but residents in Saipan/Tinian should stay in place for now.
